[Freehand] Opening FH9 file FHMX=crash

I need to open an old FH9 file in FHMX. No matter what I try (double-
click, drag to application icon, drag to a new file opened in FHMX,
import) Freehand MX will crash. I was able to launch FH9 in classic and
open the file there, but shouldn't I be able to use FHNX?

I searched the TechNotes, but wasn't able to find anything there.
